Introducing Keytiles for Data Analysts
Thanks for visiting this page!
We tried to prepare this landing page to showcase Keytiles from your perspective. We do not want to waste your time so let's start! You can even jump in to any of the below:
- # What is this Keytiles thing?
- # Thanks, but we have **** Analytics already...
- # How do you know my editors, colleagues would use it?
- # Take 2 minutes! Take a quick look!
- # One more view point: data privacy, GDPR
- # Try it maybe?
- # Thank you!
What is this Keytiles thing?
Keytiles is a drop-in tool for your news website. It
- measures visitor activities over your articles in real time =>
- collect the data into our cloud based servers =>
- let the colleagues in the news room monitor the content performance in a way (we call it TileView) which is explicitly designed to be "human friendly" so anyone can just quickly see how many visits the articles receive under your different areas/sections/topics.
Thanks, but we have **** Analytics already...
OK before you close the browser please just stay for a sec! :-) Keep reading a bit!
It's a bit different... You are correct, it is also an analytics tool but Keytiles (well, in its current form, of course we have some plans) is not for deep analysis and not for producing daily / weekly / monthly reports from this and that perspective.
Keytiles is mostly useful for your Editor / Editor-in-Chief / Journalist colleagues directly. It helps them to easily see when a certain article trending up / trending down already and they can use this information to manage the content accordingly.
Making decisions like
- "Let's change this article a bit now to make it more attractive again" or
- "Give it a small push via our Social channels" or
- "OK this is not really interesting anymore, time to replace" so it is pushed down or removed from the frontpage or section/topic pages
Because of the above we define Keytiles as a decision support tool.
The cool thing is that Keytiles TileView does not require scrolling, does not require learning - it just works like a helpful tool from moment zero, out of the box.
How do you know my editors, colleagues would use it?
Well, we are a startup that's true. But we are live since late 2020 and we have a few "news website" customers already you very likely know, including
- Styria Media Group (Austria) - tracking websites like diepresse.com, kleinezeitung.at
- Ringier AG (Hungary) - tracking websites like blikk.hu, noizz.hu, glamour.hu and 5 more
They are with us for a while now and by now they (the editors) see Keytiles as an essential tool in their every day work! :-) #weareproud

Take 2 minutes! Take a quick look!
Watch the below video so you can have a good guess about how it works and why it is efficient for the above:

One more view point: data privacy, GDPR
The world changed during the past years from this perspective and more and more people, organizations raised awareness. They have fear of using products of big "tech giant" companies because literally nobody knows how and where the accumulated data is used - but legally you are responsible in Europe.
We are a European startup - we are taking this topic very seriously. We refuse playing in the "grey zone" because we are not building our business around "additional values" of the data. You can read in more details about our approach here.
True, by now we can not replace these tools entirely due to lack of features. But our mission is that we want to build them all over time and provide a full alternative. We are working on it. But we need to start somewhere :-)
Try it maybe?
If you are interested then let's drop in Keytiles to your site and give it a try! You don't have anything to lose. Why?
- Adding Keytiles is not a complicated process at all. Remember? It's a drop-in-tool.
- As soon as our tracking script is there the value is instant: your colleagues will start to see TileView immediately
- We go with a 30 days free trial period. But even after this Keytiles is not expensive - you can check our pricing plans for yourself.
- We don't require "1 year" or similar long term commitments. After the trial period you pay monthly fee. And you can cancel any time
