"Keytiles Website Tools" - our inline tool
"Inline tool" (a.k.a "overlay tool") means: this is available within your own website. As soon as our tracking script is installed and included into your website you can pull this up.
We created this simple overlay tool with having the idea in mind: simplicity!
There are scenarios clearly when you want to find / setup something for only a specific page / article on your website. Here we go with the assumption: you can find it on your own website the best. Right? So instead of complicating our UIs with building functionality "how you find your content you want to setup something for" which then you need to learn to use etc. we decided to bring Keytiles right next to your own content!
How do I open this tool?
The easiest way is through an icon, from your Data Container list page. Follow these steps:
- Go to your Data Container list page: https://gui.keytiles.com/system/containers
- Find the icon and click! This is it:
- Once you click it a list will appear to the right - choose which one of your tracked domains (websites) should we open up for you. Click the one you want!
- Your chosen website will open in a popup the way our tracking script will open the tool for you.
What can I do with it?
A lot! :-) For example:
- Monitor events sent to Keytiles
As you are navigating on / interacting with your own website they are shown. You see them in the bottom area.
It is a perfect possibility to double check what event is sent, when and with which attributes exactly. You can use it as a debugging tool! - You can manage custom event trackings (requires login)
So you can quickly experiment towards the direction of micro conversions. - You can put certain pages/articles to your Watch list (requires login)
or remove them... - etc...
